There are many appliances that I consider important for the end of times. For example, an air fryer, a slow cooker, a bread maker and a sandwich toaster. In this case the recipe tastes way better if you use a slow cooker. That said, if you have failed to adequately prepare then you can follow the recipe and make it on a stove top. However, shame on you for not being suitably prepared.
Ingredients
- 1 (14 oz / 400 gram) tin cocktail sausages
- 1 cup tomato ketchup
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
- 2 teaspoons dark soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons American mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Directions
- Blend all of the ingredients in the slow cooker with the exception of cocktail sausages
- Turn the slow cooker to low and cook the ingredients for around 2 hours or to taste
- Add the cocktail sausages, stir thoroughly and cook on low for a further two hours
- Voila, your cocktail sausages are ready but what to serve them with for even more taste
- I go with lemon infused cous cous but that is a whole different story and a different recipe
- As per my usual advice, just make your choice in terms of side dishes that you enjoy
